Strategy is the direction and scope of an organization over the long term. Ideally the organisation matches its resources to its changing environment and in particular its market, customers or clients so as to meet stakeholder expectations.
Diakrisi is concerned with forming the Business Strategy which means we understand the strategic position of the organization and meet the following demands:
What changes are going on in the environment?
How will the changes affect the organization and its activities?
What is the resource strength of the organization in the context of these changes?
What is it that those people and groups associated with the organization – managers, shareholders or owners, unions and so on – aspire to?
Finally we examine how do these changes affect the present position and what could happen in the future.
